As my supply of Varget dwindles, I have started looking at whats available locally.  I found Winchester 748.  I'm reloading 223 and in the reloading book, it's only a little below Varget as far as muzzle velocity and CUP pressure.

Any cons to this powder other then having to rezero my scope?

The only con with the 748 in my experience is that it is very temperature sensitive.  Some of the books suggest you get around this by using magnum primers, but I definitely noticed a much better group in my 223 using 748 in July than I'd get in February.  Ball powders definitely meter like a dream though.
