Seen a big bear walking the fence on the base thursday on my way to st john, he looked big. Turned around to check him out and he left in a hurry. Seen 5 moose that day as well. The boys that hunt the base have lots of animals to see.
Heard about this one last night NBBH! Congrats!

Say - is that the 3rd gun this season or back to the first without the scope?
Sounds like you've been having some fun down there - I am headed down tomorrow!
Cograts!Did you weigh him or is that an estimate? You guys that have huntin access to the Base have a definite advantage.Your very lucky to have that privilege.

200 Bears Comon, think you added an extra zero by mistake!
I realize he is an excited young hunter.Buckhunter you harvested a very nice adult Boar, and you should be proud!; but if you don't want people to tease you, you should be honest. How much do you weigh?I would guess 150lbs or so.Looking at you next to the Bear, he should be almost 3 times your size, and how long is the picnic table he is laying on?If he's a 7 foot bear, that must be the table from the"Last Supper"? :rolleyes:He is an extremely nice Bear but don't get too carried away.Congrats again!
Where are you seeing this picture of the bear on the picnic table? I see nothing

You can easily see 10-15 bears a night where he hunts...I saw 10 last night.

Its very hard to judge the size from that pic, but i can tell you thats one nice bear and its very solid, great job pal.

No extra 0 behind that 200. NBH put his time in the last couple weeks, I don't doubt the accuracy of that number one bit.

Great bear NBH!
I can guarantee you he was near 400 or over pictures do not do justice I am not over exaggerating 400 was also his live weight not dressed I will have other pictures up in the next couple days that will shot his true size and as far as 200 bears go that is a low estimate lol I spent 14 days hunting in some of the best bear country in the province!

Comon Spencer, not even close to 400lbs. How did the bear go from 6 feet to 7 feet on your face book page, didnt know bears grew when they were dead. Looks to be the same size bear Buckley and I took on camera and he was only around 250lbs. http://newbrunswickhunting.com/forums/index.php?/gallery/image/19-2010-bear/

Were you hunting the stand that you set up over by wickham, or I guess the same ones Jon and Jarvis took there Bears out of? Glad to see you got your first Bear though Bud, congrats nice first bear for sure.

200 bears in two weeks? Man wouldnt want to stroll through them woods empty handed.

Here is a 7 foot plus 400+lbs bear

actually spent 2 days there this weekend biking by blue mountain. Tons and tons and tons of Scat on the roads, just seems like 200 bears is alot, that would be 20 bears aday 5 days a week everyday for 2 weeks, maybe but seems like alot. Regardless nice bear.
