Hello all! I just got re-signed in. Just wanted to test drive the site. I used to be known as AWBBYSDAD on here, but decided to use the new username I also use on Archerytalk forums. Just want to see how I made out with all of my info etc.

Welcome to the new site and the new username
It won't be long before most of the active users of the old site are back at it here. Enjoy!

Me too, since the site was taken down for improvements I have gotten a new bow, 1st in 17 years, Mathews DR2, sweet, looking forward to bow season.
Thanks for the welcome Dave! Didn't get much time to hang around last night after setting up my profile.
And "Hello" to you other bowhunters. I am looking forward to another bowhunting season as well. Been doing a little shooting lately with my target bow(Guardian).I just shoot in my backyard. Bugs are starting to put a damper on it though. Best time to shoot is early in the am, on my weekends off.

Congrats on the new bow "styk"! Nothing like that new bow smell is there?
I shot an XI Flatliner for about 15 years before I upgraded to a Bowtech. Then two years later had to buy another one.
I have a weakness for new Bows. In fact I am ordering another one next week!!!!
This one is from a new bow company that is just getting it's feet off the ground. Its Maitland USA and I am having it made in custom dip target colors. It is going to be sweet.

Welcome Back ArcherynutNB
Sorry fellas, for not responding pronto. Couldn't get on the site earlier. Something in an e-mail about technical problems with Aliant customers. Seem to have worked out the bugs now though.
Welcome Back ArcherynutNB
Thanks dude! Welcome back yourself! I wasn't that active on the old site in the last couple of years. Hope to spend more time on here this time around! It's "all"

Thanks dude!...and welcome back as well! Ahhhhh!...So you "are" a Hoyt man!!
Never shot a hoyt. I would love to get me one of those Carbon Matrix's. Reviews on the bow are pretty impressive. But talk about pricy!!!

Hello! Glad to be back, and great to see you here as well.

I was actually looking at those Destroyers myself a while back. But heard a few horror stories about the Flex Guards breaking on them. And also the cam track is not quite deep enough, causing string de-railments when the bow is torqued slightly.

I like the looks of the bow , its sure fast.. and it has gotten great reviews. And even though the incidents of failure have been few and far between, and mostly isolated to the 350 and not the 340...I still won't take a chance on the bow for $900!

I was looking at buying a Strother "Sr-71" and also Elites new "Judge". But I have decided to order a bow from a new manufacturer "Maitland USA". Perhaps you have read about them. They are just starting out and have put out the first production runs of their two models. The Zeus is a 37 ½" axle to axle bow, and the Retribution 33 ½". I'm putting in my order this week for a "Custom" dipped Zeus. This is just going to be a target("for fun") bow. They haven't even got their dealer network set up yet. So I am getting in on the ground floor.
These bows are not speed demons. Only about 318 IBO. But they are coming out with speed cams for them in the future.

Anyway.. Good to hear from you again 4ever, and sorry for going on a new bow rant! I get carried away when it comes to new toys! Heck.. just ask the wife!
