Hunter Orange Clothing
From Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, the following people must wear a solid fluorescent hunter orange jacket or vest and a hat of

solid fluorescent hunter orange:
• Hunters.
• Fur harvesters carrying a firearm.
• Licensed guides (while guiding hunters).

camo should be allowed right after deer season or even bird season... i know a few fellas that bend the rules but i dont take the chance myself

Yeah, in my opinion we should not have to wear the orange after Nov 30th.... seems kinda useless to me.

I agree with no orange after deer season, or at the latest after grouse season.I just wear an orange button up vest to walk around.But once in the bush it goes for a flight.

I must admit I doubt very much whether my special post-partridge-season vest meets the minimum 144-square-inch rule.
Still, I truly believe that if you stay perfectly motionless and have the wind in your favour, it makes very little difference.

Saw a video once of a guy in a complete Santa suit, sitting in a chair, out in the open, no cover whatsoever, calling in coyotes with an e-caller and shooting them. The wind was in his face and he never so much as twitched. THis was in the southwest US, but still.
If I can find the video, I'll post 'er.

\my mistake. \it wasn't a video, it was a series of photos. And it wasn't an ecaller, it was the great Gerry Blair, hall of fame hand caller, who actually looks just like Santa, who put on a full Santa Claus suit, sat down on one of those cheap tin bingo chairs in the middle of nothing, no trees no cover no nuthin', and proceeded to call in coyotes by mouth and shoot them, just to prove the point that if you don't move and if the wind is right, you could be wearing a pink tutu and purple pantyhose, and still kill coyotes.

I thinkl i saw one of a guy in a clown suit hunting them to ...but maybe that was the one im thinking of..coyotes can`t see colour but are like deer, you roll your eyes the wrong way and they will likely see it, but all camo def helps break out your outline, still easier to see a big orange solid blob then full camo thats for sure, all season including deer i wear the bare minimum, a small fleece vest and a hat everything else is camo...way i figure if someone is stupid enough to fire at anything that moves no amount of orange is going to save me
