Deer Attractants/Lures

Last year when i was hunting out behind the house with my dad, we put out some tink's 69. After a while we got bored and decided to change locations. We left the tink's there as we knew we would be back. When we decided to go get a bite to eat we walked through the trail which is only about 30 meters from where we had the tink's out. Then we got busted by some deer that sounded like they were right where the tink's was. So the Tink's 69 doe in rut buck lure has worked for me, except I wasn't there so I couldn't tell you if it was a buck or doe.

Either tarsal glands or urine collected and froze after the season.

I have used Tinks Mock Scrape Starter spray with some success. I have had bucks lay down scapes right beside the mock scrapes I made with the spray.

Also I was sitting in my tree stand and had a buck come out 100 yards above me and almost get to where I could take a shot and then he turned and went back the way he came. The wind was blowing in a direction that would cut across his path when he turned around so I sprayed a bunch of the scrape starter in the air. About twenty minutes later the buck came on half a run and stopped right at my tree stand. I have to think it was because of the spray.

im also a big tinks fan i use all there stuff 69 doe in rut and the gel and smoke sticks also have use the mock scrape

Thanks for the replies boys. I may just take a look at those! I have never expirimented with scents/attractants but may try em out this season!
