Okay so if the weather is warm and the bear doesnt hibernate, till after hunting season, what does that do to the deer rut? and the mature buck coming into to ride the doe?
It slows down, but that buck is never too far away from the doe's
you lug apples out all summer week after week, may get some does, but if the bear finds them hes going to demolish them and consitantly demolish them until he hibernates. Alot of time, some cases money, and alot of human scent thrown in your area.
I don't lug apples at all in the summer,I hunt a orchard and put my apples down when they are pretty well gone off the trees.
why would you lug out apples out in the summer?
A mature buck will eat apples but less likely this will bring him out of his habitat in which he will not trust.
Bring the doe's and the buck will follow,
This was a topic by Savage has gotton away from original post and I am done arguing with you.Everybody got their personal preference, but don't bash them.I hunt to be in the woods and am thankful I can go out and really don't care if I get a B/C buck. You talk of old school hunting, well when you are 40 or 50 then you can talk of old school hunting.
