We now have Sunday hunting for three Sundays in deer season but what if DNR took back the three Sundays and gave us a full week for hunting deer at the end of deer season(the last week of November)...using either black powder or bow? Would this extra hunt time...six days... appeal to those who favor Sunday hunting? Would it impact the deer harvest negatively? What do you people think?
as far as sunday hunting....it never really mattered to me if we got to hunt on sunday or not!
dont get me wrong...i do hunt on sunday and it is great for the guys that only get the weekends!
but i will say it was nice to get to sleep in on sunday after a long week of getting up at 4 am.
I usually save most of my vacation for hunting season so i am off for 3 weeks to a month during the season!
so..makes for a long month when your up at 4 am 7 days a week.....
now on that note...
an extra week at the end of the season would be nice BUT if they were going to do that, i rather see them start a week later, instead of starting oct 4th maybe start oct 11 (yes i hunt with a bow)
maybe have the same season as nova scotia?
doesnt there season start later then ours and end early dec???
