For me, it's coyotes, very challenging to try and outsmart probably the smartest animal in the forest, very satisfying when you get one!
For me it is the White Tail. It is a all year thing for me. Food plots,Thinning areas, planting apple trees,Eastern white cedar and some grapes this year. I have 2 mineral sites this year,They are doing well starting to get some nice pics I will post some later when I get time.
Whatever is in Season, ask me know I say Bear, ask me in Sept I say Goose, Oct ducks, Nov. deer, Winter song dogs. Sorry kind of a complicated answer!
For sure it has to be " MR. MOOSE "

Such a rush when the come to the call,
the anticipation as they draw closer and closer, then Bingo out they step.. YEAH..

Not to mention, darn fine table fare..

For me 1st place is moose. The thrill of hearing him answer your call and then leading him in on a string. White-Tail would take a strong 2nd place though. There is also nothing like sitting in your stand and watching the doe lead that ole buck right under you. Man what a life it would be if one could hunt all year around and be rich and good looking. I guess I'm still stuck on the good looking part, because I'm sure not rich and I haven't figured out a way to get my wife to let me hunt all year long.

Waterfowl, non stop action from 10 days in September to middle of December.
Whitetails. Finding new spots, clearing shooting lanes, putting out mineral licks, checking the trail camera, i love everything about it. Haven't had the chance to hunt moose yet, not even old enough to apply for a tag, but hopefully someday i will get a chance to hunt them.

I really like to hunt moose, love to hear the grunt when I call, Hope to picked in the draw this year.
I would have to choose Moose as well over deer and bear. One reason is the size and as others have stated when you hear them answer a call it is pretty awesome. The other reason is that you only have 3 days to hunt them so there is alot of pressure to "get r done" . I have hunted moose on the last day a couple of times, and the nerves are starting to kick in by then
......great fun

A picture says a thousand words.....Oh and BTW, I think the quotas should be augmented,,,,way too many of them around if you ask me LOL!

Bathurst Harbor, taken this morning at 9:30AM....by 10:00AM, one of them was hit and killed by a motorist....

Wonder if a lock-on tree stand would fit on those bridge pillars.....Hmmmm....

Should be able to shoot them if you think they may harm someone....
I think a mans freezer would never be empty in my area. They are always hitting one with a car or 18 wheeler. DNR came and shot a cow last fall in the field next to my house, she looked healthy but had been walking in circles in the field for 3 days. I walked up within about 10 feet from her and she never even blinked at me just stood there with her head down. After they shot her I helped DNR load her up on the truck and she still looked good not the usual signs of any brain worm. They was not sure what was wrong with her.

MOOSE for me, the scouting, calling, getting anwsers to the calls, hearing them make thier way from the thick black mud and thier antlers being forced through the trees brush....nothing like it....good luck to all on the draw.
No beaver hunters out there? HA -HA!Never out of season and no bag limit.Plus all you have to do is sit down and enjoy a cold beverage at the bar while waiting for one to appear.Kinda beats sitting in cold treestand
