Are spectators aloud at this event? Any booths from trainers or anything like that? I've never been at one of these events but have a hunting dog and would be interested in watching and learning.

Chris,

Spectators are indeed welcome. We are always looking for new people so just come by and introduce yourself and someone will show you around. We'll be running dogs all that week-end.

Anyone can watch the dogs. A "gallery" of spectators can walk behind the handlers and judges. The dogs are run two at a time (braces) until all the dogs entered have been viewed by the judges. Each brace in this trial will be 30 minutes.

If you have a bird dog and wanted to participate, we plan to have a gun dog event on Labor Day Monday. The gun dog events are fun trials and are designed for new people to get acquainted with the trial game.

There won't be any exhibitors etc. there but we do expect a couple of pro trainers to be there to run dogs.

Hope you can make it out.
