Lately ive been doing alot of crow hunting, been decently successfull but its hard to find a good spot since crows tend to stay close to houses. Ive called in the odd crow flying by and took him down but im wondering if anyone has a crow spot that is full of crows and is legal distance????

Try asking around and find some farm fields, the ones around my house are full of them, farmers im sure will have no prblm with you shooting crows long as you pick up ur shell casings and of course dispose of the unlucky ones yuo call in or ambush, i plan on going the next day i have off of work to try and call a few, ive already gotten a couple here and there on dirt roads with the 17hmr but they are pretty hard to get a shot at and scarce, pretty much just targets of opportunity lol
Lots of blueberry feild out my way and they are full of crows right now. If you could find the farmer im sure they would love to have you shoot all you could.
Farmers are out mowing right now (a bit late now though) and every time I drive past a freshly mowed field, it is full of crows.
Every. Single. Time.
They seem to be quite concentrated along the beaches scavenging for food, I have 6-8 on the beach at any given time but I have been debating whether to shoot them or not because I am only 240 meters from the neibours on either side and even though it is legal I do not want any visits by the wardens or cops, because some of the neighbours are summer campers from the city and think that every time they hear gun shots that someone must be getting murdered. lol

I have found that they dont take too long to find the stale bread and things that I throw in the compost pile, not saying you should bait them that may be illegal but bread would be what I would use if it was legal.

You can't bait waterfowl. Anything else is fair game, to my knowledge.

That may be so, that is why it said MAY be illegal in my post. I could not find any regs on it in the book but I always thought bears were the only thing you could legaly bait here in the province. I know on the waterfowl regs it says no person shall hunt migratory game birds within 400m of a bait source. I have seen many people using apples for deer but never had a clear answer whether it was legal or not.
Is there any good spot near Moncton to hunt crow (dumping site, etc.) ??
i find get as close to the city as you legally can, sometimes its hit and miss but i went crow hunting last weekend in a random spot set up some decoys and a crow call (primos alpha dogg) and they just kept coming and coming... it was alotta fun to say the least! ive tried livestock dump sites as well as just out in the good ol woods and luck out if theres a large number or crows nearby
i find an electronic crow call to work best just because they sound like multiple crows going at once,,, the one i have brings em in from far away and really stirrs them up compared to the traditional mouth caller,,,,which i was never much good at LOL. First time i tried the ecall i was amazed that it took no more than 30 seconds and a group of em were flyin close to me. Good times!
