I am glad to see this, education in taxidermy is good for the client and taxidermist, thank you from Spirit Lake Taxidermy.

Tom,

Just about to head out on a bird hunt today. If I happen to get a nice brown/gray phase male grouse, is there any steps I need to take to prepare it for you to mount?
Do you still mount grouse?
Hey pal i do still mount alot of birds for clients, grouse are nice mounted if there not all shot up, i like my clients to fold the bird head under the wing and wrap up tight, old pantyhose is great for this then put in couple grocery bags and your good to go, good luck pal.
