Anyone know any quick grouse spots around or near Moncton?

Grouse spots, you've only to get a topo map with some dirt logging roads, especially older ones alder lined with partially washed out bridges that you can travel by four wheeler and you'll be bound to find some birds. I know one thing if this year has normal amounts of precipitation (hopefully this weeknd is just an anomaly) then the partridge numbers should be good, as I've heard lots of drumming this spring.

just look for an abandon dirt road, make sure there are no inhabited places nearby, and take a walk up it until you come across what looks like a small animal trail on the side, then just look down it, fields are good to look around too.
I think you would have more success in asking someone to take you grouse hunting. Nobody is going to give up their scouted grouse spots easily though.

Been seeing lots and lots of birds out on the bike, shapin up to be a good season. Grouse like, abbandoned apple orachards and high bush cranberries. Find these and pretty sure you will find birds. Hope it helps
GameChaser, if your up for a bird hunt and have not found a place yet send me a pm and I will take you out to a spot I know. There are other hunters there but a good place to get a few birds
