Just got an invite to hunt moose in capeBreton, with a friend of mine from N.S. I wont be able to carry a gun but thats fine with me.One prob. It,s at thetop of capebreton.and its in Dec. Does any one have any experence with that area, at that time of the year,.Any info would be greatly app.

yup all kinds im from cape breton...

bring snowshoes cuz ur gonna be in the highlands and the snow is usually in drifts cuz of the wind off the water and its usually wet and sticky

i suggest fleece clothing with waterproof shell on the outside

be prepared to walk uphill alot

a few pairs of boots and lots of socks

and a camera is a must ...CB highlands is a beautiful place

Thanks. I kinda figured as much.But who,s afraid of a few feet of snow.Anyways it will take more than snow to keep this old fellow from that hunt. Thanks again.

Been there once in late August when the bulls were shedding thier velvet. Seen a lot of massive bulls in a few days. Hope you guys get a monster.
