A new H&R Pardner will run you closer to $200 actually, but as stated it's all you need. Grouse seem greedy about not giving most of us a second shot at them.

charlie has a single 12ga for $40 a few posts down. If it is in good a shape as the 20ga I bought from him I think its a good deal.,

Well, I just sold a 20 ga.
Look through the classifieds here.
Check your local newspapers.
Check your local gun shops.

As mentioned new NEF/H&R singles can be bought for about $149.99 plus tax and shipping (if required).
Cabelas, Wholesale Sports, Lebarons, Ellwood Epps all seem to carry them.
