I am looking for information on the following 22 long rifle. The stamp on it says

Model CIL 300
JG Anschutz GMBH
Waffenfabrik. Ulm/D
Cal .22 long rifle

What I was wondering is where to purchase a magazine for this rifle. I have had this .22 for a long time but never used it as I lost the magazine. I had brought it to a local gunsmith to order the magazine and he told me it was a hard to find item and would cost over $100 for the mag. Well that was like 20 years ago when I was like 16 years old and that was a fortune to me back then, so I told him to forget it.
Now I have decided after all these years I want to find that "hard to find part" Anyone on here have any places online or local that would carry a magazine for this rifle?

Didn't the Army Cadets use an Anshultz 22 at one time? If I was looking for any gun part I'd take a trip up to the Gun Dealor in McAdam and see if they have that magazine or perhaps an after market one that would work.

I believe the CIL 300 is the same as either the Anschutz 525 or 520/61.
I read somewhere the mags from the Anschutz 1416 bolt action fit but DON'T take that for gospel!!!!
I'd try Target Shooting Products as they claim to have the largest assortment of Anschutz parts in North America.
You can also try Western Gun Parts.

Well Target Shooting products got back to me and they had one mag in stock. Ordered and on the way. Cant wait to get this thing shooting again.
