Yep, NB all the way, from the Bathurst Area....
Dont mean to be rude but try hunting deer in your own area, every fall Southern NB gets invaded with people from the north shore. There is a reason Y the deer hunting sucks up north, and its not the winters! But hey if someone lets you use there hunting hot spots then go at her, imagine you will be hard pressed bud!
Hey Moosebuck, I'll let you hunt on my land! LOL

Plenty of big bucks in the back of the shed LOL!

I tought this website changed for the better, i see we still have the same old A S S, around, Get a life and get informed on why the deer numbers are down in the north, call DNR and ask them, have you ever been up north during our big winters. We still have good numbers of deer around, just closed to hunting, i hunt in Saskatchewan now, just wanted to find some PRIVATE land to bowhunt on in NB. My god some people are just narrowminded...Zone 23 just added 500 tags (Doe's), dont you think there is a reason for that (not enought deer kill) deer is for everybody, and public land is for everyone as well.

You are a hunter that gives us all a bad name.....i petty you...

Easy big wheel, simply said gonna be a tough task. There is more crown land in the northern part of the province than in the southern half, so if there are as many deer in the north than Y are you looking to hunt on others ground? Everyone knows the amount of deer jacking that went on in the north for years and years, not saying you were involved simply giving you the main reason Y it will be hard for you to find good deer land to acess that is privatly owned. Want a good spot to go, heres a tip try the mcgivney area great hunting around there with lots of crown land to acess! Best of luck to you MooseBuck.

Well its kind of an apology, the deer jacking that you are talking about, is done pretty much everywhere, i havent heard anything about that in our area at all, maybe it happens, i dont know, but still the main reason why the deer pop went down is the coyotes and the big winters,, you can add to that slow goverment envolvement of closing the deer hunting when it was going down hill. Poaching dont help either, i am pretty sure there is more poaching down south than in the north for deer, deer in back yards are easy pray for poachers....Ive hear real good stories of a guy in Bagdad that had plenty of kills during a season....Point made hope you get your moose tag this fall, i hope you did not apply in zone 5,7, or 8,..LOL

I couldn't hunt those deer, they're like pets now, we gave'em names and everything LOL!

Hope Rusty made it through. There were 2 coyote kills a mere stone's throw from my back porch in early February. One I know was an injured 2.5yr old buck who was starving (bone marrow cross section analysis from DNR), the other carcass I didn't get a chance to find out much about it.

Sure hope to see what pops up on the trail cams this year......in the meantime I'll keep hoping for a bow season,,,, I ranged them last year at 6 yards LOL!

Bow hunting is never an issue around my parts but when the rifles come out its harder to find a spot. There is vehicules on every road and cut over. Glad i havent fell in love with deer hunting and prefer ruffled grouse. Plaster rock is always busy in the fall of the year amd plenty of places for bowhunters around.

P.S u find a bear with a spypoint hanging out of his mouth can ya please ask for it back.
Hey Moosebuck, if your still looking for a place to bowhunt let me know.
I've got quite a bit of land east of Sussex and I assume no one hunts it as no one asks permission.
Do you need a place to stay or do you have a camper or other means?
Not all hunters in this area are so protective of "their" hunting area, that being said when a good area is "found" by someone the next year they bring 2 friends
and so on and so on..... that's the stories I have heard about inviting other hunters not just yous guys from de nort shor fur sur

But seriously if your the quality of hunter you say I have no problem inviting a couple of guys down.

Thanks for the offer, i am still checking with 2 friends of mine, ill keep you in mind, i am not the kind of guy who will bring anyone with me, just real good hunters...
Great, let me know.
Always nice to meet another hunter.
Not a bad idea for a guy to broaden his mind and maybe see another point of view.
