I was wondering if anyone knows what the rules and regulations are for the moose hunt in Quebec if I'm a non-resident. I've applied in NB for way too long without any success. I heard that all you had to do was purchase 2 licenses but are limited to one moose. If anybody knows, I'd really appreciate hearing from you.

You're right. Buy 2 licences and you're limited to one moose. No draw. No guide. Best part is; you can hunt the 9 day bow season and, if you're unsuccessful, your licence authorizes you to return again for the 9 day gun season. Where you are (assuming Tide Head )you would hunt zone 1, which allows non-residents to harvest a bull or calf only.

I lived in Tide Head for a long time and hunted in Quebec for the last several years.

I should mention, the bow hunt season is over for this year but the 9 day gun season starts Oct 16th. I'll be there.
