Got a Moultrie 5.0 about 3 weeks ago and put it out near the camp. This is our first time using a trailcam - quite impressed with the results so far. Was hoping to get some pics of deer but none yet. Put out 4 apples (all I had in the fridge at the time) to see what might come along and got some cool pics of a bear that we weren't expecting - would this be a medium sized bear? Also got a pic of woodcock. Any ideas what to put out to atract deer and moose this time of year?

Thanks Guys! I think it is going to become quite a hobby. I already can't wait to check it this weekend. Now hopefully I will get some deer pics soon.

Marlin....I dump some driveway salt in front of my trailcam, the deer seem to love it.The same deer keep coming back every four or five days to lick the salt pile.....works for me!

Got some more pics off the trail cam today. It seems to me like maybe two different bears - One smaller (like a 1.5 yr old cub) and one bigger (like the sow). What do you think - Sow and 1.5yr old cub?? Also got my first deer pic - a seemingly healthy looking doe.

Very nice, I just got a trail camera for Christmas. So far I have only got a picture of a domestic dog, but I'm going to buy something to lure the animals.
