Anyone else having a bugger of a time finding reloading supplies for shotshells? After 10 months of waiting for primers from Memramcook, I broke down and ordered them from Wholesale Sports in Calgary, still can't get my hands on lead shot. Anyone know where supplies are available?

It seems shotshell reloading has declined to the point no dealers want to bother with it. I traveled through Maine last year looking in every gun shop I came across. 209 primers were found but only because a lot of muzzle loaders use them. Shot was available in some stores but VERY expensive ($50-60.00 US/bag). Powder was hit and miss and wads were as bad.

I was in Calais Maine yesterday and Johnson's hardware had shot for $60.00/bag.

Found 2 suppliers with lead shot, The Gun Dealer in McAdam had 1 bag of #7 1/2(now en route to my house) not sure about other sizes and Lebarons in Montreal, PQ has stock in all sizes. Not cheap to ship, $49.95(both places) plus around $20 for shipping, but I figured what it would cost me for gas to drive to McAdam from Riverview, and decided to ship it. My reloads will be expensive this year, still cheaper then ordering 1oz target loads in I guess.

I haven't shot at the Moncton Gun Club in quite a few years, so I'm not sure as to whether they sell reloading supplies, they never used to. They do/did however sell target loads(Federal, mostly) at the club. I should get out there one of these days, I've had a free round coupon sitting on the top of my tool box since 1997.

I'm not in the reloading business, but is it possible in NB to get reloading supplies for cheap enough to beat the 6.77$/box(tax incl.) they sell it for at the gun dealer?

I've noticed a lot of people in the states say they can reload for about 3.50$/box, but I'm wondering if some of those reload supplies aren't cheaper in the states because it's a bigger market?
