Just put some ribs and a bacon wrapped moose tenderloin in the smoker,can't wait for supper!!!

starting to look Good... a few hours left of smokin' and we can enjoy !

I recently bought a smoker. I mostly bought it to make jerky, haven't really had a chance to do anything yet. From what I read and seen here, people use it to cook great meals. Was just wondering how long you put these ribs and tenderloins in the smoker for and what temp, and did you put the smoke on for the hole time. From what I heard from some people is that they cook for like half the time and then smoke the last few hours or last hour or so. I guess if you smoke the hole time it might tast to smoky. Just wondering your opinion.
