Details, well i missed this bear the week before.I over shot her and thought she'd never be back.I was looking for a heavyweight and thought this bear would hit the 200 lb weight and was big enough because of her nice coat.Well after shooting the bear i get to see the ground shrinkage factor again and her live weight was only 150 lbs.I'm happy with her but look forward to someday dropping that 300+ weight bear.Matbe next year i guess.

Nice bear RR, was you hunting from the ground ?

Yup, quite the party at the bear stand that night, NBBUCKS, BREWER and i were all in a ground blind when i shot her, as you see she was quatering on pretty hard and i planned on taking her more in the chest and hit her right behind the front leg and it took out her hind end, well she drug herself of into a jack pine plantation and thats what we had to walk through at dark to finish the job.A little nerve awakening i must say!!Brewer had been hunting with me and has alot of footage from the spring and NBBUCKS was able to get out that night, he must have been the luck!!!! he was with me last fall when i got my deer too.
