Hey there fella's,

first off Dave, thanks for all the hard work in getting the site back online. Now to the important question. Does anyone out there have an idea of when the Duck Season Starts? I can't remember when it was last year, and I'm trying to book some time off, and it's got to be around the start of the season

Well I dont Duck Hunt, But Aint It always the first of October...same as Partridge.

well i cant wait im in the same boat as CbtSpr...big bug bite from last year...started out my first season last year with giant tiger DU camo and a used mossberg 500 i bought from a buddy with a beat up stock....now over the off season ive bought a replacement stock and forgrip(synthetic max 4) and new max 4 head to toe camo for the upcoming season.

Well buddy, I used to duck hunt back in Newfoundland when I was growing up, but duck hunting back home was mostly walking around the shoreline hoping to walk upon some birds. But last year a buddy of mine brought me to his blind, set up some decoy's, and the rest is history. The most fun I ever had. While I haven't went out a bought a bunch of new gear, I have spent alot of time on You Tube practising my calls.

Cbt Spr

Where are you working on Base? CFSME or 4ESR? I'm at J8 myself. I started waterfowling around here about four years ago. Oct 1st is the opener for the general season, however there is the early goose season as well as the youth hunt which are both in September.
