looking to buy a pistol scope to mount on my m1 carbine.

No pistol scope but I do have a brand new S&K scope mount and rings for an M1 Carbine if you are interested. This will allow you to use common rifle scopes.

i assume the mount goes on the rear site,if it does could be interested.

Yes it fits in the rear site dovetail after the rear site is removed.
